PFA rules evolve in the UK

There has been an ongoing debate about the use of PFAs, or polyfluroakyl substances. These are used in products that include cooking appliances, cosmetics and food packaging. Since they negatively impact the environment, the UK government reported that they have identified PFAs as an area for future action, such as in the EU, which recently proposed to ban PFAs as firefighting chemicals.
